Very bitter for the FCS: Pecorino season over

FC Südtirol is threatened with losing its captain. Fabian Tait had to be replaced against Reggiana (1:1) on Tuesday. Striker Emanuele Pecorino has now been diagnosed with the injury - and there is no good news.

After the 1-1 draw in Reggio Emilia, FCS coach Federico Valente spoke of a blow that Fabian Tait had received. However, it doesn't look like it on the TV pictures. The man from Salur had to be replaced with his face contorted in pain after he twisted his ankle while landing on the ground. That doesn't bode well. However, there is no diagnosis yet. Tait will be examined in more detail on Wednesday.

For Emanuele Pecorino, the examinations are already over. The Juventus loanee traveled to Turin on Tuesday, where precise diagnoses were made in the J-Medical Center of his parent club. Pecorino has suffered a medial ligament injury in his knee and will therefore be out for a longer period of time (at least 2 months). The season seems to have gone well for Pecorino. The striker was fouled by Bari keeper Brenno on Saturday.

Rover and Vinetot before return

However, there is good news from Kevin Vinetot and Matteo Rover. The two long-term injured players could soon celebrate their comeback. While Vinetot could be back in the squad against Lecco at the weekend, Rover is being more cautious. However, the winger is back in team training (he has a long-term muscle injury in his hamstring). Rover played its last game on November 5th.
