Against Val Gardena: Palermo starts with a resounding victory

Palermo is currently holding its training camp in the beautiful Val Gardena. On Wednesday, they played their first friendly match in Santa Cristina, defeating FC Gröden 8-0. FC Gröden will be playing in the Landesliga next season.

Star striker Joel Pohjanpalo, who scored an impressive 25 Serie B goals last season, netted twice. Jeremy Le Douaron (2), Dennis Johnsen, Giulio Anghileri, Aljosa Vasic, and Filippo Ranocchia also found the net against Val Gardena. Palermo will be playing in Santa Cristina until July 30th.
