Alfredo Guerri's comments directed at the new sporting director of Real Madrid were certainly explosive. He made these remarks in an interview with the Campanian online platform. Metropolis The new Juve Stabia boss has revealed a few things – likely also to appease the passionate fans of the Vespa. Because in recent days, Juve Stabia has suffered several setbacks.
The final straw was apparently the transfer of Andrea Giorgini to FC Südtirol. The center-back is returning to Südtirol after a year at Juve Stabia – because his contract includes a release clause. This clause can be activated until August 15th, leaving Guerri speechless: "How can this be? Who wrote this clause into the contract? We spend the entire preseason preparing the player for the season, only to lose him involuntarily a few days before kickoff?"
Matteo Lovisa worked for Juve Stabia until a few weeks ago.
Lovisa wasn't directly mentioned, but the FCS sporting director soon found himself criticized regarding former coach Ignazio Abate. "We thought he had a two-year contract," said Guerri, who revealed: "In fact, Abate was able to terminate his contract himself after the season – for a fixed sum of €1.000. So he was effectively free." The southern Italian businessman, who saved Juve Stabia from bankruptcy in the summer, added: "When I arrived, I kept hearing about Lovisa. People were talking about him as if he would soon be working for major Serie A clubs. Instead, he went to South Tyrol. He told us he wanted to be closer to his family. So we terminated his contract."500.000 euros for a player agent?
Guerri also recounted a story that, according to the new club president, also went back to his predecessors. "We received a bill for 500.000 euros from an agent whose player, according to the Transfermarkt platform, is only worth 50.000 euros. That's a crime that should really be reported to the public prosecutor's office. But I didn't mess that up; that was the work of those who were here before me."Edit Profile
