An interesting showdown between the best South Tyrolean clubs.

A three-team tournament between the best football clubs in South Tyrol – that certainly has its appeal. Local fans will get their money's worth at the Drusus Stadium on Saturday evening.

Virtus Bozen, Obermais (both Serie D) and FC Südtirol (Serie B) will face each other on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in Bolzano. This three-team tournament featuring the best football clubs in the region concludes the Red and Whites' training camp in the Ridnaun Valley and marks the start of the final preparation phase for the new season.

During Ferragosto, FCS will face Catanzaro in the Coppa Italia. A week later, they will kick off their league campaign against Virtus Entella at their home stadium.

Three-team tournament with the Serie D clubs

The focus, however, is first and foremost on the three-team tournament at the Drusus Stadium (only the Zanvettor Stand is open). It's a good opportunity for South Tyrol's only professional club to present itself to the fans, given the numerous new signings and changes in the squad. The two fourth-division teams will also have the chance to test themselves against a top opponent and – through their direct encounter right at the start at 5:30 pm – get a taste of what awaits them in the league.
