On Saturday evening, the transfer was finally completed: Simone Zanon will now play for Pisa, as Italian media had already indicated in recent days. The relegated Serie A side initially signed the right winger on loan from Carrarese, with an obligation to buy him under certain conditions.

“Hello everyone,” Zanon addressed the fans of the Tuscan club with a broad smile in a video on social media. “I can’t wait to see you all in the stadium and step onto the pitch. Sending you all hugs and: Forza Pisa!”

Sinicher was trained in the youth academy of FC Südtirol and made his professional debut in Serie C in the 2018/19 season. A year later, he joined SSC Napoli, where he primarily played for the Primavera (first team). He then moved to Seregno Calcio, helping them achieve promotion from Serie D to Serie A in the 2020/21 season. He repeated this success a year later with Sangiuliano, for whom he subsequently played in Serie C.

Zanon aims to continue its success story

Zanon joined La Carrarese for the 2023/24 season. With the club, he achieved promotion to Serie B, where he established himself as a regular starter over the following two seasons. In total, he made 116 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals and providing 17 assists. Now he aims to continue his success story at Pisa.
