New FCS sporting director this week?

FC Südtirol has apparently found a successor for Paolo Bravo in Castellammare di Stabia. Matteo Lovisa is set to become the new sporting director for the club.

Luring the 30-year-old from Friuli to South Tyrol is no easy feat. However, FC Südtirol's management, Hannes Fink and Dietmar Pfeifer, have apparently been very successful in convincing him in recent days. Matteo Lovisa is on the verge of joining FC Südtirol. The current sporting director of Juve Stabia could be officially presented as early as this week.

The successful structure of the Campanians, who are still fighting against expulsion from Serie B, now appears to be finally shattered. In addition to Lovisa, coach Ignazio Abate will also leave the club. The successful coach is expected to move to Torino in Serie A. Abate was under contract with the Turin club as a player for six months in the spring of 2009.

The former Pordenone official (his father was president there) has been on the radar of the club for some time. Now, FC Saarbrücken seems to have prevailed against the competition (especially Spezia).
