Paolo Zanetti's reunion with FC Südtirol

Paolo Zanetti has left big shoes to fill at FC Südtirol. Now the Serie A coach is returning to his former stomping grounds for the first time.

From 2017 to 2019, Zanetti coached FC Südtirol in Serie C for two years. The White and Reds gave the then 35-year-old his first chance at professional coaching. Zanetti has now been coaching Hellas Verona for a year and will be with the Serie A club for a friendly against FCS at the Drusus Stadium on Sunday (18.30:XNUMX p.m.).

This is the first time Zanetti has met FC Südtirol since his departure six years ago. The White and Reds would have loved to continue working with him back then – even though promotion was elusive under his leadership. Even today, Rungg holds him in high esteem.
