Austria Klagenfurt has not received a license for the upcoming season in the Austrian Bundesliga. If this continues, the club would have to start all over again in amateur football. Simon Straud But it expires in the summer anyway. The 26-year-old from Pustertal has been playing for the Carinthian team since 2020 – with a one-year break – and celebrated promotion during this time.
This weekend, Klagenfurt lost 3-5 to WSG Tirol. Straudi, who trained at FC Südtirol and Werder Bremen, played for an hour on the right wing. Martin Hinteregger has been his teammate since January. What will happen next for football on Lake Wörthersee remains to be seen.
