Match schedule available: A fantastic start for FC Südtirol

The new season is fast approaching for FC Südtirol. On Wednesday evening, Serie B announced its schedule – and gave the White and Reds a fantastic start.

The training camp in the Ridnaun Valley ended last weekend, and now FC Südtirol is getting the finishing touches for the new season at the training center in Rungg. The season officially begins on Saturday, August 16, with the first cup match against Como. The following weekend (August 23/24), the hunt for points in Serie B finally begins. The start is a tough one for FCS.


On the first matchday, Fabrizio Castori’s team will face Catanzaro, which was one of the big surprises last season and reached the semifinals of the playoffs. After that, FCS faces a home double game – against a team brimming with football tradition. On August 30th, Sampdoria in the Drususstadion, after the international break the big match will take place on 13 September Palermo to Bolzano. One week later, Fabian Tait & Co. are at Frosinone to guest.

This year there will be a Boxing Day at Christmas again, although it will not be on December 26th, but on December 27th. Then FC Südtirol will be at Juve Stabia After a two-week break, the first half of the season will resume on 10 January with a home game against Spezia completed.

Completely new program in the second half of the season

As in previous years, the match calendar is asymmetrical, meaning that the matches in the second half of the season will not be played in the same order as in the first half. The second half of the season begins for FCS on January 17th away at Empoli, The championship will conclude on 9 May with the home game against Juventus Stabia.
