Gliozzi joined FC Südtirol around 19 years ago as a 10-year-old attacking prospect. And indeed, to date, the now 29-year-old has scored more goals for the White-Reds than for any other club. The striker scored 25 goals in 69 competitive matches for FCS before leaving the club for Cesena.
Gliozzi has now played 139 Serie B games (28 goals). In the last two years, however, things have not gone as planned for the robust attacker. He was sidelined at Pisa last winter. He then moved to Modena, where he played again but did not score any goals. In 28 games for the Canaries, Gliozzi has only scored twice.
Ten years ago, Ettore Gliozzi made his breakthrough in professional football wearing the FCS jersey. Now he wants to get back on track in South Tyrol.
Now he is expected to find his old form at FCS and support and relieve Raphael Odogwu in attack. The Italian-Nigerian was often the sole entertainer in the FCS attack this season. Gliozzi's return to Bolzano is not yet complete - there is no official announcement from the White-Reds.Edit Profile
