Before the Bari game: Many question marks at FCS

FC Südtirol is facing the weeks of truth: The game already has a lot at stake on Easter Monday at home against Bari. However, there are some personnel issues ahead.

Like the daily newspaper Dolomites As reported, Raphael Odogwu missed Friday's training. It remains to be hoped that the Italian-Nigerian will be fit in time for Monday's match (12.30:3 p.m.) against Bari. Odogwu is a fixture alongside Silvio Merkaj in Fabrizio Castori's 5-2-XNUMX system, while the other strikers (Gabriele Gori and Matteo Rover) have not been able to perform at all in recent months.

One thing is certain: Castori doesn't want to deviate from his two-pronged system. The FCS coach currently has many midfielders fit. For example, South Tyroleans Raphael Kofler (who also played in midfield) and captain Fabian Tait were unused against Salernitana.

Who's playing on Monday?

The big question is who will be preferred at the center this time. Niklas Pyythiä, Luca Belardinelli, and Jacopo Martini are other names available, although Mateusz Praszelik and Daniele Casiraghi are likely to be certain. However, one can never be 100 percent sure about Castori.

Kofler is also an option in defense. But likely only for the right-wing position in the back three. Freddie Veseli seems to be a regular on the left, as Andrea Masiello won't play against Bari anyway – due to his betting history. Whoever starts on Monday, the home game against the eighth-placed team is one of five finals for FCS to avoid relegation in Serie B.
