Emanuele Zuelli He has just completed arguably the best season of his career. The Carrarese Calcio midfield strategist is now set to take the next step at Padova. The Serie B club from Padua, who finished tenth last season, are aiming higher and are launching a transfer offensive this summer. Zuelli, who has already amassed 98 Serie B appearances for his relatively young age, is part of this project. The transfer fee is expected to be around €1,8 million.
The 24-year-old was trained in the youth academies of FC Südtirol and Chievo Verona. He already made appearances in Serie B for Verona. He then moved on to the reserve teams of Juventus and Pisa. However, Zuelli only really hit his stride again in the last three years at Carrarese, where he first achieved promotion and then spent two years as a regular starter in Serie B.
Zuelli was recently with Carrarese at their training camp in Kaltern. On Monday afternoon, he said goodbye to the fans in Carrara with an Instagram post. "When I came here three years ago, I never imagined how much this city would grow on me. It has been a wonderful time that has helped me grow both as a footballer and as a person. I simply want to say thank you for that," Zuelli wrote, among other things.
These professionals could still transfer.
Most likely, his former teammate will also be there. Simone ZanonZanon is leaving Carrarese. The 24-year-old winger from Sinich is reportedly headed for Serie A. Cagliari was previously considered the frontrunner, but Sassuolo Calcio has also entered the race for Zanon. FCS player Zanon could also be on his way to the top flight. Manuel DeLuca He is not expected to stay at Cremonese after his loan return. Padova and newly promoted Benevento are both vying for the now 28-year-old Serie B striker. Jonas Heinz He could move to Serie B. This would be a first for the 23-year-old from Naturns. After a strong season with Casertana in Serie C, he did not extend his contract there. The defender could be drawn to Carrarese, Catanzaro, or even Salernitana, who are desperate to return to the second division.
