Fischlerler decides the Sardinian derby

Manuel Fischnitzer really thrives in Sardinia. The striker from South Tyrol decided the Sardinian Serie C derby at the weekend.

There are around 100 kilometers between Sassari and Olbia. The two third division teams from northern Sardinia share a rivalry, which is why the derby between the two clubs attracted attention at the weekend. In the end, SEF Torres had the upper hand 1-0. The winning goal scorer? Manuel Fischnler!

The striker from Signat is in top form. The winning goal against Olbia (where former FCS assistant coach Leandro Greco is on the bench) was his 10th goal of the season. Torres is fighting for the championship title with Cesena in Group B, although no one had the Sardinians on their list at the start of the season. The favorites were others, including Carrarese. Join the club from the city with the famous marble quarries Simone Zanon and Emanuele Zuelli two South Tyroleans.
