There are around 100 kilometers between Sassari and Olbia. The two third division teams from northern Sardinia share a rivalry, which is why the derby between the two clubs attracted attention at the weekend. In the end, SEF Torres had the upper hand 1-0. The winning goal scorer? Manuel Fischnler!
The striker from Signat is in top form. The winning goal against Olbia (where former FCS assistant coach Leandro Greco is on the bench) was his 10th goal of the season. Torres is fighting for the championship title with Cesena in Group B, although no one had the Sardinians on their list at the start of the season. The favorites were others, including Carrarese. Join the club from the city with the famous marble quarries Simone Zanon and Emanuele Zuelli two South Tyroleans. While Zuelli did not play against Vis Pesaro (0-0) at the weekend, Zanon from Sinich was substituted in stoppage time. Carrarese is in fourth place.
There was also a win for Lorenzo Sgarbi, who won 3-1 with Avellino against Foggia. The striker was in action for 84 minutes before being substituted. David Wieser (Mantova) played 2 minutes in his team's 0-17 win against Pro Sesto. Jonas Heinz Taranto is still missing injured. There were no points for the second division professionals Manuel DeLuca (Sampdoria/77 minutes in 0:3 against Parma) and Max Reinthaler (Wiesbaden/reserve player in the 0-1 win against Magdeburg). In Austria the second half of the season has Simon Straud not yet started in Klagenfurt.
