Already 10 goals: Fischnaller as consistent as ever

For the first time in 2025, we will be taking a closer look at the performances of South Tyrolean football professionals in our “Field Service” section. This time, the focus is on Manuel Fischnaller.

Manuel Fischnler is consistency in person in Serie C. The 33-year-old has already scored double figures in Italy's third-highest league in recent years - and it's the same again this year: in the 5-1 away win over Milan Futuro, Fischnaller scored the 1-0 after seven minutes. He is third in the table with the Sardinians. Fischnaller has already scored 10 goals this season as of mid-January.

Luke Sinn (Clodiense Chiogga) and Jonas Heinz (Casertana) were both in the starting line-up, but both teams suffered a 0-1 home defeat. Elion Toci came on as a substitute in Pro Patria’s away defeat at Feralpisaló.

And what’s going on in Serie B? Lorenzo Sgarbi made his debut for Juve Stabia, coming on as a substitute in the 1th minute of the 1-85 draw against Spezia. David Wieser came on the field 2 minutes earlier than his South Tyrolean colleague in Mantova’s 2-13 draw with Cosenza. Manuel DeLuca remained on the bench in Cremonese’s 3-0 victory over Frosinone, while Emanuele Zuelli and Simone Zanon with Carrarese only in action on Monday evening against Pisa.
