Manuel Fischnler Ravenna lost 0-2 to Salernitana in the first leg of their Serie C playoff quarter-final in front of 21.000 spectators. The Salerno fans spurred the home team on to victory. The second leg in Ravenna takes place on Wednesday. Fischnaller and his teammates need a home win by two goals.

Benedikt Rottensteiner Bra were relegated to Serie D – at least on sporting grounds. The Ritten defender did not feature in the decisive 1-2 relegation playoff defeat against Sassari Torres. Rottensteiner will return to FC Südtirol in the summer after his loan spell.

In Germany, Simon Straudi celebrated promotion to the second division with Energie Cottbus. Luke Mazagg He received a yellow-red card in the 71st minute of SSV Ulm's 2-3 defeat against Rot-Weiss Essen. The visitors scored the winning goal in stoppage time, securing themselves a relegation playoff spot.
