The Lahn should shake: “We need the fans”
On Sunday at 15 p.m., FC Obermais will play its first-ever Serie D match on the Lahn River. However, opponents Mestre are a tough opponent coming to the spa town.

There's no warm-up phase for FC Obermais in Serie D. After the 0-3 defeat against Serie D long-time champions Este (in the league for 21 years), their next top opponent, Mestre, arrives. The Venetians are among the favorites for promotion and have an extremely strong squad, including international player Faisal Bangal. (click here for the article) counts. Lorenzo Melchiori from Bolzano is also a South Tyrolean in the Mestre squad.
On the other hand, FC Obermais wants to give every team a run for their money at home. Coach Flavio Toccoli emphasized in the summer that the Lahn River must be a fortress. His goalkeeper Luca Tenderini echoes this sentiment: "We are highly motivated and want to send a message to the home crowd. It will be a difficult game, but at home we have to make it difficult for every opponent. I hope for a full stadium, because we need the support of our fans."
