FC Obermais: A top-class addition to the defense

FC Obermais has pulled off a coup on the transfer market: The Merano-based Serie D club has signed a highly interesting player.

The departure of Alex Debiasi (to Naturns in the Oberliga) left a gap in FC Obermais' defense. This gap has now been filled – with the signing of Salvatore Tazza. The acquisition of the 28-year-old from Naples can be considered a coup, given that Tazza has played 104 games in Serie C, the third tier of Italian football, during his career.

Last season, the center-back played for Nocerina 1910 in Serie D. In short: FC Obermais seems to have landed a big fish. Tazza and his teammates will soon find out who they will be playing against next season. The league divisions will be announced on Wednesday.
