The hunt for Obermais' away win continues

FC Obermais has won points in three of their four recent head-to-head matches. However, South Tyrol's only Serie D club is still waiting for its first away win. Will they manage it on Sunday in Campodarsego?

The memories of Campodarsego are rather unpleasant. Last autumn, Obermais won the home game 1-0 after Luca Polli capitalized on a costly error to score the winning goal at the Lahn stadium. Now the South Tyroleans have to travel to the away game and hope to finally end their winless streak on the road. FC Obermais has yet to secure an away victory in the league.

The next opportunity comes on Sunday (2:30 p.m.). The fourth consecutive direct encounter awaits in Campodarsego. With seven points from their last three matches (and without conceding a goal in any of them), Obermais has improved their position in the relegation battle. However, the Merano side is still hovering just above the relegation zone. The road to staying in Serie D is still a long one.
