Mamadou Ngom is a new player for FC Obermais. The 25-year-old from Lombardy was most recently without a club, but made twelve appearances for Terranuova in Group E of Serie D last autumn. Ngom, whose family roots are in Senegal, was trained at AC Milan and is a versatile striker.
"He can play anywhere in attack, especially in the center as a striker or second striker," explains FCO sporting director Christian Platzer about the new forward. Ngom has over 150 Serie D appearances to his name. In 2021, he moved to Vibonese in Serie C, and a year later to Vis Pesaro. He scored four goals in 44 games in Italy's third division. "Ngom gives us another attacking option, and he also knows Serie D," says Platzer.
After former Serie A player Nikolas Spalek and Sebastian Leimhofer (Brno, Czech 3rd League), Ngom is the third winter signing for FC Obermais.
