Alessandro Rossi is a new player for Virtus Bozen. The 25-year-old from Trento will invigorate the wings of the provincial capital club with speed and goal threat – and also brings a wealth of experience from Serie D and Serie C to Bozen.
Although Rossi only played in the fifth tier for Rovereto last season (10 goals), he previously enjoyed a full professional career. After being developed at Trento and Chievo Verona, the versatile attacking player progressed to Serie D club Matese (9 goals) in Italy's third division. Following two years with Latina in Serie C, Rossi gained further Serie D experience with Clodiense and Mori Santo Stefano. Now he is expected to become a key player in Virtus Bolzano's attack.
Vinciguerra is coming back
Filippo Vinciguerra, another player with Serie D experience, joins the team. Like Rossi, he comes from fifth-tier side Rovereto, where he contributed 10 goals last season. The 23-year-old from Trentino came through the FCS youth academy and was considered a great talent there before serious injuries hampered his progress. Nevertheless, he has amassed 62 Serie D appearances in his career – half of them for Virtus Bolzano. Vinciguerra already played for the Bolzano club in the 2023/24 season.Edit Profile
