State league: St. Martin wins top game against Neugries with 2-1 goals

The 23rd matchday of the regional league opened on Friday evening with the big game between league leaders St. Martin in Passeier and Neugries. The hosts prevailed with 2-1 goals and temporarily extended their lead in the table to five points over Bolzano, which hosts Schenna on Sunday. For Neugries it was the first defeat of the second half of the season after a draw and five wins in a row.
