After a brace: Messi leads the scoring chart

Football superstar Lionel Messi took the lead in the Major League Soccer (MLS) goalscoring list on Saturday (local time) with a brace for Inter Miami.

In the 3-2 victory over DC United from Washington, the Argentine scored his 21st and 22nd goals of the season and also provided an assist. Messi overtook previous leader Sam Surridge in the goalscoring rankings, while the Nashville attacker came away empty-handed on this matchday.
