Obermais demands everything from FC Südtirol

In front of around 350 spectators, the upper league team from Meran tried to keep up with FC Südtirol's pace from the start and put them in trouble on several occasions. The white-blue team's first chance was found by Valentin Brugger, whose shot, however, was no problem for Iacobucci. Then Höller and a little later Finanzi came onto the scene, but they too failed because of the FCS goalie. Giovanni Stroppa's team then found their way into the game better and were promptly rewarded with the opening goal. After Fink was brought down by Klotzner in the penalty area, the fouled man converted the penalty himself. Obermais then pushed for the equalizer, but Iacobucci once again stood his ground against Finanzi.

After Bernard narrowly missed the goal with a long-range shot shortly after the restart, the FCS struck for the second time: In the 62nd minute, substitute Chinellato made it 2-0 after a wonderful cross pass from Furlan. Obermais then tried to rally again, but FCS captain Hannes Kiem made the final score 85-20 in the 3th minute with a shot from around 0 meters.

The sixth friendly match of the summer took FC Südtirol to Obermais, on the Lahn. As announced, Giovanni Stroppa had to miss out on Grea, Albanese and Campo due to injury.
