St. Martin shoots his frustration away - All scorers

With four rounds to go, the battle for the title in the regional league remains exciting. After the decisive 4-0 victory by league leaders St. Martin and the 3-1 victory by closest rivals FC Bozen 96 in the derby against FC Sarntal, the situation in the seventh division hasn't changed. The "Mortiners" lead the Talferstadt side by five points.

Bozen 96 were even trailing until the 71st minute, before Sapone, Veronese, and Perri turned the tables. Leaders St. Martin were more commanding, leaving Vahrn no chance with four goals in the second half. The goals came from Kofler, Haller, Daniel Lanthaler, and Saltuari.

In the relegation battle, Latzfons/Verdings celebrated an important victory against Moos. The Eisacktal team won 1-0 in front of their home crowd thanks to Stefan Stuefer's winning goal. Schenna hasn't yet given up on staying in the league: the Burggräfler club beat bottom-placed Teis Villnöß 1-0.

Bozen FC showed clear signs of life with a 3-3 draw against St. Pauli. The point didn't help the team's standings, but it likely boosted the ailing morale of the players of the traditional Bozen club.

After Wednesday's goalless draw in the rescheduled match against St. Pauls, Lanthaler & Co. proved their worth on Matchday 26 of the Landesliga, celebrating a goal-fest against Vahrn. The "Mortiner" fans were delighted to celebrate a 4-0 victory.
