St. Martin triumphs in the summit and is on the verge of promotion - all goals

On the 25th matchday of the national league championship, St. Martin takes an important, probably even decisive step towards the top league. In the direct clash between the first-placed and the second-placed teams, it is the team around Saltuari and Co. that can score the important three points at the end of a game played at the highest level. The decisive factor in a hard-fought and sometimes heated game is the Passeier defensive department: As in the first half of the season, St. Martin's defense managed to prevent the most dangerous team in the league, i.e. Bozen 96, from scoring a goal. A goal for the home team from ex-FC Südtirol captain Hans-Rudi Brugger in the eighth minute of the game is enough to seal the important victory and extend the lead in the table to seven points.

In the fight for third place in the table, St. Pauls celebrated an important away win: In the direct clash with Weinstraße Süd, coach Martin Klotzner's team achieved an impressive 4-1 win. The team from the Unterland, which suffered another defeat after seven games, maintains a two-point lead over the now fourth-placed Überetscher and can be happy that their pursuers Virtus Don Bosco and Neugries have to suffer setbacks again. Virtus DB can't get past a 1-1 draw against Vahrner, who is still in danger of relegation, and Neugries gives bottom-placed Teis Villnöss their second win of the season with a 0-1 defeat.

In the middle of the table, Natz (3:1 against Bozner FC) and Sarntal (3:0 against Schenna) celebrated convincing victories. While Moos and Stegen settled for a 1-1 draw, Latzfons Verdings got three very important points in the relegation battle in the away game at Meran.

In the preliminary top game, St. Martin managed a narrow 1-0 victory over Bozen 96. Coach Gasser's team extended their lead in the table to seven points and can dream of the top league six game days before the end of the championship.
