South Tyrol's football professionals in a rollercoaster of emotions

After the last cup weekend, the Italian professional football season has really gotten underway in recent days. In our "Outside Sales" section, we provide an overview of the South Tyrolean players' performances.

South Tyrol's only Serie A professional Manuel DeLuca on Saturday evening with newly promoted Cremonese celebrated a sensational victory at AC Milan. The striker from Pfatten was substituted in the 84th minute.

In Serie B, Emanuele Zuelli and Simone Zanon Carrarese beat Spezia 2-0. The two South Tyroleans were in the starting eleven. Lorenzo Sgarbi (he also played from the beginning) lost with Pescara against Cesena with 1:3. David Wieser came on in the 0rd minute of Mantova's 1-83 defeat in Monza.

Played in Serie C Manuel Fischnler in Trapani's 0-0 draw at Casarano. Simon Harasser showed another strong performance. The 19-year-old goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in Sorrento's 0-0 draw with Cavese. While Jonas Heinz and Casertana play on Monday evening, Jonas Tschöll (Lecco) Michele Marano (Sassari Torres) and Benedikt Rottensteiner (Bra) all on the bench. Luke Sinn lost 1-2 with Ospitaletto at Lecco and was substituted on in the 63rd minute.

Toci scores in Serie C

Abroad, only Mathias Theiner The Obervinschger won 2-1 with Austria Salzburg against Floridsdorfer AC in the Austrian Bundesliga and played the whole game. In the third German league, Luke Mazagg on the bench in Ulm's 1-2 defeat at Duisburg. Max Reinthaler was not even in the squad at 1860 Munich.
