The boys, coached by Harald Crepaz, finished in third place, while the girls, coached by Denise Ferraris, achieved fifth place.
In the boys' competition, South Tyrol started with a 3-0 victory against Salzburg thanks to goals from Fill, Berger, and Rossi, but then suffered a narrow 0-1 defeat against Trentino, the eventual tournament winner.
