About an explosive return and much more
There's a lot going on in our weekly "Outside Sales" column, in which we examine the performances of South Tyrol's professional footballers over the weekend. The focus, however, is Lorenzo Sgarbi's return to the Drusus Stadium.

Lorenzo Sgarbi Sgarbi trained at Virtus Bozen and FC Südtirol before joining Napoli's U2017 team in 19. The Bolzano native has experienced a lot since then, including a cruciate ligament tear a few years ago. Last season, Sgarbi attracted attention in Serie C with Avellino. However, his first Serie B season isn't going as planned.
After an unfortunate first half of the season at Bari, Sgarbi moved to Juve Stabia in the winter. There, too, he was denied significant playing time and his first goal in Serie B. His big moment came on Sunday: The 24-year-old came on as a substitute in the 63rd minute of the away game at the Drusus Stadium. After just a few minutes, he outplayed Andrea Giorgini and won what appeared to be a penalty. The penalty was subsequently disallowed for diving.

He then clashed with FCS striker Silvio Merkaj, before Fabian Tait attempted to mediate. The Bolzano crowd raged against Sgarbi, who likely hadn't imagined his return to his hometown quite the same. To make matters worse, Merkaj scored the 2-0 goal a few minutes later and celebrated wildly in front of Sgarbi.
Many South Tyrolean goals
In Serie B there was also the South Tyrolean duel between Cremonese and Mantova, which the team from Cremona won 4-2. Manuel DeLuca scored a brace. The Pfattner now has eight goals this season. The visitors David Wieser came on in the 65st minute. Emanuele Zuelli and Simone Zanon played from the start again at Carrarese and are on the verge of survival after the 1-0 home win against Sampdoria.Manuel De Luca (left) scored twice for Cremonese. © US Cremonese
In Serie C, Manuel Fischnler in Sassari Torres' 2-3 defeat to Lucchese. The attacker from Signat has 12 goals this season. Luke Sinn (Union Clodiense) was suspended for yellow cards and Jonas Heinz (Casertana) was not used. Daniel Theiner (Carpi) and Simon Harasser (Sorrento) both were given the trust to play in goal this weekend. In the two defeats, Theiner had to make two saves and Harrasser one.
A prominent coach for Simon Straudi
Austria Klagenfurt has released long-time coach Peter Pacult in light of its slump in the Austrian Bundesliga qualifying group. Carsten Jancker will take over training on Monday. Simon Straud played for Klagenfurt until halftime on Saturday. At that point, the score was 2-0 for LASK. The 26-year-old Bruneck native's contract at Lake Wörthersee expires in the summer. However, in the coming weeks, he and former Bayern Munich striker Jancker are expected to help prevent relegation.
In the third German league Max Reinthaler in 0 Munich's 1-1860 defeat against Hansa Rostock, he was on the bench for 90 minutes.
