Great success for Laura Fürler and Alexander Oberhofer

Several South Tyrolean athletes shone at the Italian Senior Taekwondo Championships, which took place in San Giuliano near Naples.

Alexander Oberhofer (-87 kg) from Taekwondo Südtirol-Eurotherm and Laura Fürler (+73 kg) from Taekwondo Brixen returned home with outstanding results.

Oberhofer impressed with technique and determination in the -87 kg category. After four intense fights, he secured the title of Italian champion. He showed his superiority especially in the final: a solid and precise performance brought him victory and confirmed his status as one of the most promising talents at national level.

Fürler achieved a prestigious success in the +73 kg category. After previous unsuccessful attempts, this time she made it to the final, where she faced an extremely strong opponent. Despite losing her last fight, second place represents important progress for her and a reward for her hard work over the last few months.
