Karate World Champion: A South Tyrolean beams with gold

At the IKU (International Karate Union) Karate World Championship in Buenos Aires (Argentina) yesterday, 19-year-old Fabian Pezzei from Mühlbach became karate world champion with the Italian team; Pezzei won silver in the individual event (general class, -80kg).
