Strong results in Jesolo

The Lions Cup 2026 in Olympic Taekwondo took place in Jesolo on March 21st and 22nd. Alps Combat of ASD Taekwondo Brixen also participated, attracting attention with outstanding results and impressively confirming their strong youth development program.

Carolina Culcsar's performance was outstanding, as she won the gold medal in the cadet category (red and black belts). Mattia Ferigo also stood atop the podium in the junior category, as did Samuel Hinteregger, who also secured victory in the junior class.

The team from Brixen also won several silver medals: Sohail Khadir and Laurin D'Alberto impressed in the junior category, while Christian Piero Widmann (Children) and Katharina Scalise (Kids) each took second place.

Three bronze medals rounded off the strong result: Kacper Bubel and Daniel Tauber in the Cadet category, and Mia Scrocca Moos von Seiller in the Kids category. Additionally, Daniel Luca Olaru achieved a commendable fifth place in the Kids category, underlining the team's overall performance.

Overall, Alps Combat of ASD Taekwondo Brixen can look back on an extremely successful competition and once again confirms its role as one of the leading Taekwondo teams in the region.
