The first victory and a new record

Finally! On matchday 10, newly promoted Pfalzen managed to win their first point. After an exciting game, the Pusterers won 5-1 against Verdings, but are still at the bottom of the table. Just a look at the overall result shows that the game at the Verdings bowling alley was close. Pfalzen was only in the lead by 21 pins (2068:2047). In addition, Nadia Unterfrauner from Verdings was the only player to score more than 3 set points. But she was also the only one who scored for the Eisacktal women. Two teams are now marching forward at the front. Fugger Vipiteno leads the table with 2 points after they beat Überetsch Eppan 18-4 and took their 2th win of the season. Behind them lurks Villnöß with one point less. Nathalie Profanter & Co. also won their game, beating Plose 9:4,5. New track record in Freienfeld Fugger Sterzing's last home game in the Bliegerstadion in Freienfeld turned into a party! The reason: There was not only a crystal clear 8-0 win to celebrate against Algund, but also a new team track record. The Wipptalers knocked over 3601 pins. The average of almost exactly 600 cones per player speaks volumes: The Fugger Sterzing showed a fantastic performance last Friday. Algund, however, had no choice but to congratulate. Stefan Zini got off to a strong start and scratched the magic mark with his 597 cones. Christian Mair from Algunder came to 555 pins, which meant the point remained with the Fuggers. Manuel Hofer, who swept a strong 617 pins off the track and scored all 541 set points against Michael Ladurner (4 pins), also scored points. Then it was the turn of Franz Höller and Florian Thaler for the Fugger and Dominikrechner and Ivan Waldner for Algund. Both times the match point remained with Vipiteno, with Höller 585, Thaler 603,rakemacher 556 and Waldner 551 knocking down pins. The last duels in the Bliegerstadion were those between Egon Ralser and Anton Oberperfler and Reinhard Gruber against Arnold Pircher. The closest game was between Ralser and Oberperfler. Both got 2 set points, but in the end Ralser had 7 more pins (563:556 pins) and secured the match point. Gruber, however, made short work of Pircher. With the day's best performance of 636 pins, he gave Algunder, who knocked down 527 pins, no chance. The 2 points for the better overall result contributed to the final score of 8-0.

Things got hot again in Kegel-South Tyrol on the last match day. In addition to the Champions League game for KK Neumarkt, there were of course numerous games in the championships on the program.
