Pure excitement among South Tyrol's top bowlers

In the women's A class, Fugger Vipiteno are still leaders. But they can't rest in the sunny place. Villnöß is still one point behind them, just like the other pursuers.

For Villnöß there was another victory to celebrate on the last match day. In doing so, they caused another chasing team to stumble. Tirol Mutspitz had to admit defeat to Nathalie Profanter & Co. at the end of an exciting game with 1:5.

There were no outstanding individual results to marvel at, but there were hard-fought and exciting duels. Things really got going in the first one when Selina Fiwickeler competed against Nina Oberhofer. With 529 pins, Fischnelller threw the best result of the day, but Oberhofer held out against her for a long time, knocked down 516 pins himself and, like Fischnelller, scored 2 set points. Still, it wasn't enough for the match point. Simone Putzer stepped up for Villnöß in the second duel. Both she and her opponent Dora Rinner didn't have an easy time of it at the Villnöß leisure center. In the end, Putzer had 14 missed throws, and Rinner didn't hit a pin 13 times. In the end, the hostess prevailed by a hair's breadth: 2:2 in the set points, but 488:482 bowling in the result.

The other pursuers don't let up either Nathalie Profanter gave the first match point from the Villnössers' perspective in the captains' duel against Gabriele Gamper. Even with 520 pins, Gamper had knocked down 7 fewer pins than Profanter (527), but since the Burggräfler had scored 3 set points, she took the point. In the last duel, Jasmin Prader made up for it and left Silvia Gasser behind with 515:508 bowling.

Like Villnöß, the other pursuers don't let up. Sarnthein beat Passeier 4:2 and is in 5rd place in the table together with Vöran Blechernen, who won 1:3 against selection Ratschings. A three-point hole opens up behind them before Tirol Mutspitz follows with 9 points.

Men: Neumarkt remains number 1 KK Neumarkt won the top game against Fugger Vipiteno with a win and has not yet given up a point this season. For a bowler, it was a return to his old place of work: Florian Thaler played for Neumarkt last year, but now he played for Fugger Sterzing at his former club in the Leifers sports zone. And he had no luck in the first duel of the day. While his opponent Erik Kuna knocked down 640 pins and achieved the second best result of the day, Thaler only knocked down 564 pins. Georg Righi also won his game against Manuel Hofer with 598:572 bowling and got the second Neumarkt point.

KK Neumarkt remains undefeated at the top of the table this season.

Then the guests also wrote in when Franz Höller celebrated a narrow victory (600:593) against Hubert Lantschner. Stefan Zini had Vilmos Zavarko, the most difficult Neumarkter, in front of him and had to admit defeat despite a strong 601 pins: Zavarko brought down 669 pins (best performance of the day).

As a result, Egon Ralser also had to admit defeat to Tamas Kiss (558:602), so a victory for the Wipptal team was already out of reach. Last but not least, Alex Posch (he came on for Armin Egger after the test throws) competed against Vipiteno's Reinhard Gruber. Gruber won with 621:535. In the overall result, Neumarkt was clearly ahead with 121 pins (3637:3516) and took victory in the top game.
