The national championship titles have been awarded

In the girls' hammer throw, Nicole Castlunger set a U16 national record. The woman from Bolzano improved her recently set mark (39,38 meters) to an impressive 41,00 meters. Frederic Schöpf from Lana increased his best time in the 100 meter hurdles by a hundredth of a second to 13.85 seconds, while he achieved a good 6.41 meters in the long jump. Greta Amhof from Bruneck prevailed in the U16 over 80 meters and in the long jump, while Aurelia Feichter from Lana, Nora Dametto from the South Tyrol Team Club and the Merano women Magdalena Pircher and Eva Schrott also celebrated double victories. The national championship titles have been awarded

A total of 52 titles were awarded at the U14 and U16 state championships in Brixen and Lana at the weekend. The most successful club was the Bolzano club SAB with 14 gold medals, while SSV Bruneck won seven titles. Twelve clubs had at least one national champion.
