A Vinschger shines in Haslach

Hannes Kaserer in particular presented himself strongly. The athlete from LAC Vinschgau ran the 110 m hurdles in 14.14 seconds at the start, missing Lukas Lanthaler's 23-year-old national record by just a hundredth of a second. At the same time, this is also the second best Italian season. But that's not all, because in the 200 m sprint Kaserer increased his recently set U18 record by five hundredths to 22.12 seconds. Maximilian Springeth from Neumarkt impressed in the high jump and long jump with 1.90 and 6.79 m respectively. The Brunecker 800 m runner Alexander Mayr stopped the time measurement at 52.06 seconds. The two discus throwers Leo Masi (39.87 m) and Frederic Schöpf (37.47 m) also delivered strong performances. Manuel Tschinkel and Antonio De Munari ran the 400 m hurdles in 57.23 and 59.01 seconds, respectively. A U18 record was also broken among women. Nicole Castlunger from SAF Bozen won the hammer throw with 44.13 m, improving Lara Cublich's record (43.55) set seven years ago by an impressive 58 cm. There were also best performances for the two 800 m runners Elisa Neunhäuserer (1:00.54) and Lena Trenkwalder (1:00.95). There were also victories for the Bruneck 100 m sprinter Greta Amhof (12.86) and long jumper Ronja Hilber (5.44 m) from Lana. Hannah Thaler (SSV Bruneck) crossed 1.55 m in the high jump. Javelin thrower Selma Göller from Passeir won with 37.75 m. Shot putter Stephanie Schöpf from Lana achieved 13.01 m. The club championship in Bolzano served as a dress rehearsal with a view to the upcoming international “Brixia Meeting” at Pentecost.
