Hrochova and Wedel win the Reschenseelauf

The spectacular Reschenseelauf on Saturday evening saw a Czech and a German victory. The South Tyrolean runners also performed well.

Tereza Hrochova won the 2025 Reschenseelauf. The Czech even set a new course record with a time of 52.43,8:29 minutes. This is no coincidence, as the XNUMX-year-old Hrochova had already won the Reschenseelauf with a course record the previous year.

Behind Hrochova, Simone Raatz (58.39,3) and Belgian Petra De Sadeleer (59.10,9) finished on the podium. The best South Tyrolean was Ylvie Folie from Upper Vinschgau (5th), followed by her sister Marit Folie (7th).

Wedel manages the “Poker”

In the men's race, German Konstantin Wedel secured his fourth consecutive victory. The 32-year-old has been undefeated at the Reschenseelauf since 2022. The closest to the German was the Italian Antonino Lollo, who finished second. Niels Bubel (Germany) rounded out the podium in third place, narrowly missed by Peter Lanziner (4th), the best South Tyrolean. Jbari Khalid of Athletic Club Bozen finished a respectable fifth, and Simon Stifter of Pustertal took sixth.
