Young talents shine in Brixen

In the U16 girls' category, Katharina Agstner from SSV Bruneck celebrated a double victory in the 80 m and long jump. Sinah Bachmann, on the other hand, won the U16 regional championship title in the pentathlon with 3067 points. In the boys' category, the SAB athletes once again dominated. A total of five of the eight discipline victories went to the young talents from Bozen. Manuel Lorenzon (100 m hurdles, high jump) and Andrea Bassani (80 m, long jump) played a major role in this with double victories. Lorenzon was particularly impressive with his 1.81 m in the high jump. For the U16 athletes, the Ladurner GP was also a bit of a dress rehearsal for the upcoming U16 Italian Championships in Caorle in early October. The U14 aces also impressed in Brixen. Especially Lea Carrara from Merano, who won the 60 m sprint and 60 m hurdles. Theresa (600 m) and Clara Seehauser (shot put) from Sterzing also won the day. In the boys' category, Gabriel Niederfriniger from Vinschgau (60 m hurdles, high jump, shot put) and Matteo Nettis from Bozen (60 + 600 m) were in a class of their own.
