Running series continues with “10 Miles of Teroldego”

A new route awaits participants at the seventh edition of the Teroldego event on the late afternoon of Saturday, May 3rd: The “10 Miles of Teroldego” race, with start and finish in Mezzolombardo, will be held over ten miles, or 16,093 kilometers.

What won't change is the fantastic atmosphere on the Piana Rotaliana during and after the race. Those who want to participate in the event, which is the second leg of the 7 Top2025 race series, should hurry: only 500 starting places are available.

Numerous athletes have already registered for the Teroldego 10-Mile in recent weeks. The new race format replaces the Teroldego Half Marathon. The nationally recognized race over 16 kilometers and 93 meters is organized by the Atletica Rotaliana club with the support of the municipality of Mezzolombardo and with the approval of FIDAL and CSI. It is also the second stage of the South Tyrolean Top 7 running series and the only event of the series to take place in the neighboring province of Trentino. "The race will also be accompanied by a non-competitive run over a shorter distance," says Lorenzo Santelli, head of the organizing committee.

On Saturday, May 3, at 17.30:10 p.m., participants in the "XNUMX Miles of Teroldego" will set off from Piazza delle Erbe in the historic center of Mezzolombardo and embark on an exciting route through the Teroldego area, including both paved and loose sections. "The athletes will cross fields and vineyards, run alongside the Noce stream and through the streets of Mezzolombardo. Finally, they will return to Piazza delle Erbe and reach the finish line," explains Santelli. At the end of the race, the atmosphere will be even more convivial with the pasta party, where they can celebrate their achievements in good company over a delicious plate of pasta. The awards ceremony for all categories at the end of the race will also provide a fitting conclusion.

Athletes registered with FIDAL, CSI, or WA affiliated clubs in the Junior, Promesse, or Senior (including Masters) categories, or individuals over the age of 20 who hold a valid Runcard and/or Runcard EPS, are eligible to participate in the competition. On the day of the event, it is also possible to register with a CSI day pass. In any case, a valid sports medical certificate confirming fitness for athletics is required for the "10 Miles of Teroldego." For further information, interested parties can consult the regulations.
