Nine European Championship medals for SC Meran

The Masters athletes from SC Meran brought nine medals with them from the European Indoor Championships in Ghent. The most successful athlete was once again Waltraud Egger. The 61-year-old former “Azzurra” won four medals. Around 3000 athletes from 44 nations took part in the five days of competition. Italy won a total of 86 medals.
