Daughter of Irmgard Trojer, three-time regional champion

Like mother like daughter: Valentina Cavalleri, daughter of two-time Olympic participant Irmgard Trojer, won three U16 regional championship titles in Bruneck. The 15-year-old's special discipline, just like her mother's, is hurdle running. In the 300 m hurdles, Cavalleri ran the fifth fastest time in Italy in 47.03 seconds. In the title fights for the U16 and U14 age groups, South Tyrol was just ahead of Trentino (26:22).
