Successful weekend for South Tyrolean motocross riders

Last Sunday, the fourth round of the Veneto and Regional Championship TN-Bolzano took place in Sant'Anna D'Alfaedo (VR). Among the 140 motocross riders, the South Tyrolean athletes also achieved good placings.

Six local pilots even made it to the top of the podium. Lukas Messner from Brixen won the 85 Senior class, the three Merano pilots Moritz Flarer (MX2 Expert), Mathias Pfattner (MX2 Rider) and Claudia Schwarz (Ladies) were in a class of their own in their categories. Series winner Norbert Lantschner (Open Master) and Simone Carrara (MX1 Expert) were also able to celebrate daily victories.

There were also four second places from South Tyrol. These were taken by the two Meraners Hannes Pfattner (MX2 Challenge) and Maximilian Pichler (MX1 Rider) as well as the figureheads of Ferlu Racing, Georg Falser (MX1 Fast) and Mario Franzoi (Open Veteran). Michael Rabensteiner (MX2 Expert) and Matteo Pasqualini (Open Veteran, both 4th), however, narrowly missed the podium.
