Great trial weekend in Aldein

The Trial Park in Aldein hosted the fourth round of the Trial Dreiveneti Trophy on Sunday. Nearly 70 riders from various regions of Northern Italy tackled a challenging course with eight checkpoints, each to be completed three times. The course was meticulously prepared by the Trial Team South Tyrol.

Brilliant sunshine and pleasant temperatures provided ideal conditions and contributed to a thoroughly successful event. Numerous spectators also watched the competitions, including many holidaymakers from local accommodations who were drawn to the spectacular motorsport discipline.

The strong participation of young riders was particularly pleasing. The Neumarkt Motoclub was represented by a large group of young drivers, demonstrating its consistent investment in the development of its talent through a targeted training program.

TTS President Richard Pichler was unable to attend due to a sporting commitment of his son Nathan, who is active in competitive cycling. Thanks to the coordination of Veronika Mur and the dedicated efforts of numerous helpers and section officials, the event nevertheless ran smoothly.

South Tyroleans also impress in sports

The South Tyrolean participants also achieved strong results in the sporting arena. In the Minitrial C class, Leonardo Cressotti (MC Neumarkt) took third place. In the Minitrial Entry class, Alex Tavana (Trial Team Südtirol) finished second, followed by his teammate Julia Laimer in third. Ryan Scarabello (MC Neumarkt) came in fourth, ahead of his clubmate Marco Pozza.

In the TR3 class, the highest category of the Three Venetias Trophy, Giuseppe Zeni of Trial Team South Tyrol secured the victory. In the TR3 Open, Simon Taferner, also competing for Trial Team South Tyrol, prevailed against Enrico Bauce from Veneto and Gian Paolo Concina from Friuli. Marc Laimer finished sixth, missing out on a possible podium finish after a mistake in one section.

Gregor Kerschbaumer and Werner Burgmann also finished in the top ten. Laia Pichler, who now competes regularly at the national and international level, came in twelfth place. Competing in front of her home crowd, she had to do without the support of her father, Richard, who usually accompanies her to competitions.

The TR4 class, with numerous participants from South Tyrol, also proved exciting. Jonas Comploj's second-place finish deserves special mention. Fabian Thaler came in fourth, Benjamin Spögler twelfth, Hermann Thaler sixteenth, Andreas Parth seventeenth, and Johann Laimer twenty-tenth. All of these riders compete for the Trial Team South Tyrol. In the TR5 class, the athletes from MC Neumarkt impressed with strong performances. Luca Pozza finished fifth, while Luca Moscon took ninth place.
