Motocross: Good results from South Tyrol
Over 300 riders lined up at the start of the second round of the North-East Championship in Fara Vicentino (Province of Vicenza). Among them were numerous riders from South Tyrol, who attracted attention with solid results.

The veterans delivered the strongest performances. In the Open Superveteran class, Mario Franzoi (Ferlu Racing) finished in second place, securing a spot on the podium. Norbert Lantschner (MC Evergreen), also an Open Master ace, finished second as well.
In the 65cc Debutant class, Aaron Trafoier narrowly missed the podium, finishing fifth, while Alex Federa (MC Neumarkt) came in right behind him in sixth. The younger riders also impressed in the 65cc Cadetti category: Lenny Trafoier finished sixth, and Leonhard Holzer (Alp-Riders Meran) came in ninth.
In the 85cc classes, Felix Tschager (Alp-Riders Meran) finished 10th in the Junior category. In the Senior category, Jakob Gampenrieder (Alp-Riders Meran) impressed with a strong sixth place, while Jonas Planatscher (MC Brixen) finished 21st. In the Women's class, Milena Taibon (Alp-Riders Meran) finished 16th. South Tyrol's riders were also competitive in the higher categories: In the 125cc Junior class, Elia Fulco (MC Arco) secured fifth place, and Jakob Köhl (MSL) finished 27th. In the MX2 Challenge, Harald Buchschwenter (Ferlu Racing) finished 18th.
The field was particularly tightly packed in the MX2 Rider class, where Simon Herbst (TTS) finished sixth, securing a spot in the top ten, closely followed by Hannes Pfattner (Alp-Riders Meran) in seventh. Matteo Brusinelli (MSL) finished twelfth, Maximilian Rabensteiner (Alp-Riders Meran) thirteenth, and Andrea Asinari (Scuderia Dolomiti) eighteenth. Further placings went to Samuel Gottardi (MC Evergreen, 37th) and Alex Kofler (Ferlu Racing, 43rd). In the MX2 Expert class, Fabian Lantschner (ST) finished eighth, and Dominik Varotto (Ferlu Racing) came in nineteenth. In the MX1 Expert class, Georg Falser (Ferlu Racing) finished seventh. In the Open Veteran category, Johannes Köhl (MSL) finished fourteenth, while Maurizio Lubian (Ferlu Racing) took eleventh place in the Open Master class.
Several South Tyrolean riders also competed in the opening round of the Italian AMA Over 40 and Riders Championships in Cingoli (Marche). Norbert Lantschner (MC Evergreen) narrowly missed the podium in the Master MX2 class, finishing fourth. Andrea Asinari (Scuderia Dolomiti) finished 36th in the MX2 Rider class.
