Trial Team South Tyrol: Titli impresses in Nice

Trial rider Francesco Titli recently experienced a special milestone in his career. Together with Matteo Grattarola, the figurehead of the Trial Team South Tyrol represented the "Squadra Azzurra" at the prestigious 2025 X-Trial of Nations at the Palais Nikaia in Nice.

Thanks to an impressive team performance, the Italian duo secured third place behind the winning team from Spain and hosts France.

A special highlight for Titli was the personal support of 14 members of the South Tyrol Trial Team, who traveled to Nice specifically to cheer him on. Their presence noticeably inspired the young rider, and the positive atmosphere provided an additional motivational boost. For Titli and the entire team, it was an unforgettable experience that will hold a special place in their memories. This evening will resonate long after Titli, who is only 16 years old and was participating in such a prestigious international event for the first time.

The X-Trial of Nations offered spectators exciting challenges, with Italy shining with strong technique and team spirit. After the first two rounds, each comprising six demanding sections, the Italians were in third place with six points, behind Spain (2) and France (5). In the final phase, in which the riders from each team had to tackle the sections in both directions, Spain's dominance prevailed. France and Italy followed in second and third place, separated by just three points: 11 for the hosts and 14 for the Italian team. The combination of the experience of 35-year-old Matteo Grattarola and the energy and talent of the young Francesco Titli (born in 2007) proved to be a powerful duo.
