62 podium places in the World Cup for South Tyrol's winter athletes

The Italian winter athletes were on the podium of a World Cup race exactly 100 times this winter. 62 podium places go to the South Tyroleans, who particularly dominated in artificial and natural track tobogganing as well as snowboarding. A total of 26 local athletes made it to the podium. South Tyrol celebrated 17 World Cup victories this year and took silver 24 times and bronze 21 times
