Bike Transalp: Platzgummer and Perini still unbeaten

After five of eight stages of the 16th Craft Bike Transalp, the 1000 cyclists from 35 nations have covered 416 km. There are still 260 km and 7.000 m altitude difference to go to Riva del Garda. From Alleghe (BL) to San Martino di Castrozza (TN), the athletes had to cover 73,28 km and 3.137 m in altitude. The South Tyrolean teams did excellently again. They secured two category wins and a podium place.
