First victory for South Tyrol's mountain bike jewel

Elian Paccagnella gave a great demonstration of his talent at the Mountain Bike World Cup in Araxa (Brazil).

The 19-year-old from Bolzano, who won the Ossi Pircher Prize at the Sporthilfe Gala two years ago, claimed his first World Cup victory in the U23 category. After a time of 21.36:3 minutes, Paccagnella relegated Swiss Finn Treudler (8 seconds) and Heby Gustav Pedersen (Denmark/XNUMX seconds) to the other podium places in the short track race.

The second Mountain Bike World Cup event is currently taking place in Brazil. The opening round already took place in Araxa. By the way, Greta Seiwald finished 23rd in the women's short track race yesterday Friday. This Saturday, a prestigious mountain bike race, the Sunshine Race Nals, will also take place in South Tyrol.
