Back to the roots: Dolomiti Superbike for hobby bikers
The long wait for one of the world's most prestigious MTB marathons is (almost) over. This Saturday, the South Tyrol Dolomiti Superbike will be held at 7.30:2500 a.m., when over 3 bikers will tackle one of the three race tracks in the heart of the Three Peaks Dolomites region.

Preparations for the 30th edition of the legendary cycling festival, in which participants become legends themselves upon crossing the finish line, are largely complete.
It all began with them in the summer of 1995, and they are the ones taking center stage at the 30th and possibly final edition of the Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike. We're talking about the countless amateur mountain bikers who will be tackling the classic distance (60 kilometers/1570 meters of elevation gain), the medium distance (85 km/2360 meters of elevation gain), or the long distance (123 km/3400 meters of elevation gain) around the start and finish town of Niederdorf this Saturday.
"After the 'wild' early years, the Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike hosted two World Cup stages in the mid-2000s, and once we even hosted the Marathon World Champions. Accordingly, during this time and ever since, our focus has been on the top athletes, even though the concerns of amateur riders have always been very important to us. This year's 30th edition is intended to be a tribute to all those who made our event great and who have remained loyal to us over these 30 years – as participants, onlookers, or fans from home," says Kurt Ploner, who has headed the organizing committee of the legendary MTB marathon since its inception.

Preparations for the South Tyrol Dolomiti Superbike are continuing at full speed and are currently approaching the finish line. "We're already at a very good point. Our well-coordinated team has everything under control, and I'd like to thank the many volunteers in advance for that. For the participants, I wish them all a safe and injury-free finish at the 30th South Tyrol Dolomiti Superbike. When the bikers cross the finish line with a smile after all the exertion, that's proof to us as organizers that we've done a lot right and the reward for our hard work. I'd also like to thank our sponsors, some of whom have supported us for many years, for their commitment," Ploner concludes.
