This year, a strong Sporthilfe team will once again take on the challenge next Sunday (July 6): a diverse field of top athletes, entrepreneurs, as well as loyal partners, supporters, and friends of South Tyrol's Sporthilfe.
With its challenging 138 kilometers and 4.230 meters of elevation gain, the Maratona dles Dolomites captivates thousands of cycling enthusiasts from all over the world every year. At the center of the action: the approximately 30-person Sporthilfe team, comprised of a diverse mix of well-known sports figures and personalities from South Tyrol's business community. Manfred Mölgg is part of the Sporthilfe team, along with Werner Heel, Erich Gummerer, Philipp Plunger, Vera Nicolussi-Leck, Evelyn Kirchmaier, Peter Rottensteiner, Michael Klemera, and many more. They will all tackle one of the three routes (138 km, 106 km, or 55 km) and ensure that South Tyrol's Sporthilfe is once again prominently represented at the Maratona 2025.
8.000 cyclists and the Sporthilfe right in the middle
When around 6.30 amateur and professional athletes from all over the world set off through the spectacular Dolomite landscape at 8.000:XNUMX a.m. on Sunday morning in La Ila/Stern, each one is pursuing their own personal goal – be it a new personal best, enjoying the stunning scenery, or simply finishing. The anticipation and motivation within the Sporthilfe team could hardly be greater. "This event is an absolute highlight for us, and we at South Tyrol Sporthilfe don't want to miss it," emphasizes President Giovanni Podini."The Maratona is not only a major sporting event for our region, but also offers us a unique opportunity to bring together top-class sport, business, our partners, friends and supporters, and in doing so, to send a strong signal for sport in South Tyrol." Special thanks go to the President of the Organising Committee, Michil Costa, and General Director, Claudio Canins, who have been among the most loyal companions and supporters of Sporthilfe for many years and have contributed significantly to the success of this extraordinary event.
