Urska Zigart has struggled with her unwanted notoriety as the girlfriend of cycling superstar Tadej Pogacar. "I felt quite watched," the 29-year-old cyclist told the portal. Cyclingnews"Because I'm Tadej's girlfriend, that put me under a little more pressure."

The Slovenian rider, who rides for Team AG Insurance-Soudal, has just completed the best season of her career. She achieved top-ten finishes at the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de Suisse, and the Tour de Romandie. She has now blocked out the pressure from the public.

“It helped me become who I am. And today I don’t really worry about what the public thinks anymore,” said Zigart. Pogacar (27), with whom she lives in Monaco, plays an enormous role in her career: “He’s sometimes a joker, but also a very mature person. Without him I wouldn’t be where I am.”
